AGENDAS: Review of Multi Party Conference (MPC), Oxfam Meeting, Debt
Campaign and General updates of labour relief campaign.
1) A Review of MPC was done. Around one lakh twenty two thousand six
hundred and seventy six rupees (122676) were spent on the conference.
It was decided that a thank you letter will be sent to those who attended
the meeting. A DVD of the conference will be completed by the movie
maker. Short Version for YouTube and other websites will be prepared
by Qalandar Memon. A committee, which will include members of
different parties, be made which will carry on the debt campaign.
2) Farooq Tariq gave a summary of events that took place at meeting in
Islamabad with a senior member of Oxfam. His airfare was paid by
Oxfam. After the meeting, he attended another meeting at Labour Part
Headquaters.
3) A rally in Islamabad on 2nd September. Date for rally in Lahore was
finalized i.e. 19th September. Amanullah and Qalandar will prepare the
design of the posters. Farooq Tariq to complete the leaflet by the morning
of 2nd September. A city wide awareness program. Farooq Tariq to contact
and motivate people. PYF to motivate youth. Qalandar to motivate
people on facebook.
4) Situation of Pir Sabaq was sent by Farooq ahmed. Summary was given by
Ahad Awan. 150000 to be sent to Thatta urgently. 50000 to be sent to Pir
Sabaq. Around 3lakhs to be sent to thatta again. To spend EID with flood
victims is still under discussion.
Khalid Malik is going out of city on Friday morning. Farooq Tariq is going
to Nepal on 3rd.
