a)     Financial Update

Proceedings/decisions

·        Khalid Malik presented brief report on the finances. Rs. 3, 75,000 were distributed for Peer Sabaq, Naseerabad and hyderabad during the last week. Net balance Rs. 3,76,747 as on 23^rd August.

·        DF from USA sent Rs. 16,773 , JA from USA sent Rs. 25,000, N contributed Rs. 2000. While X collected 1,38,200. As on 27^th August, LRC has the balance 5,70,220. Total Funds collected till date by LRC (Lahore): Rs. 13,97,057. The new disbursment will be decided in next meeting.

·        It was decided that cash amount would also be distributed among women affectees in   consultation with the local networks.

·        Next Meeting: Wednesday, 1^st September, 2010 at 5:30 at LEF office.
